On top of writing about those that inspire us, we also create and release our own content via YouTube clips, mixtapes on Soundcloud, and through multiple social media outlets (i.e. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.). The next step, and the original focus of our movement is to create a clothing brand that represents not only all of our individual styles, but all of our attitudes collectively. There’s not many bands out that try to keep it simple. Some tend to be very complicated with their music and message. The 1975 is not that band. They hail from the UK and started out trying to make vids on YouTube. Matty Healy (lead vocals/guitar) wanted to make simple rock n roll with a variety of basic and electronic sounds.
