She began her music career in San Francisco by playing the guitar and auto-harp while tossing back her drink, Southern Comfort. A couple of her popular tracks included “Piece of My Heart” and “Work Me, Lord.” At her prime of her musical career, she was considered as the “Queen of Rock and Roll” and the “Queen of Psychadelic Soul.” She has also been recognized by Rolling Stone Mag as one of the greatest singers and artists of all-time in 04′ and 08′.

January 19, 1992An American rapper was born. Malcolm McCormick, better known as Mac Miller was born in Pittsburgh and is a self taught musician. At the early age of 6, he taught himself how to play the piano, drums and guitar. In high school, he was an all around kid who played sports but when he turned 15, he decided to focus on hip hop and make it a career. He is currently signed to Rostrum Records and has recently dropped his debut album Blue Slide Park. Watch out for this kid, he’s steady makin’ noise.
