The first time I heard ab0ut Andre 3000 playing Jimi Hendrix in a biopic was 2 or 3 years ago and since then my excitement has fizzled down to lifeless soda. Without any solid news to hold on to the idea just entirely slipped my mind until today. The Irish Film & Television Network (via Entertainment Weekly) reports that the 3000 has locked in the role for the film All Is By My Side and will begin shooting in three weeks.
