May 5, 1988Adele Laurie Blue Adkins, better known as just Adele, was born in Tottenham in North London, England. She began singing at the age of four and began writing songs at age 16. Her biggest influence for singing and performing are the Spice Girls and her R&B influences are Aaliyah, Destiny’s Child and Mary J. Blige. She dropped her first album in 08’, 19, which went 4 times platinum in the UK. This great success created much buzz in the U.S. and Adele quickly was made a household name. In 11’, she dropped her second album, 21, which earned even greater success, giving her 6 Grammys! Adele has only begun and will be continue to blaze the charts.

May 5, 1989Chris Brown was born in Tappahannock, Virginia. As a child, like many children growing up, he was inspired by the great Michael Jackson to be a star. Brown taught himself how to sing and dance and started performing in church. After his mom saw his potential, they contacted who they needed to and moved to New York to pursue a dream and the rest is history. He dropped his first album in 04’, which went double platinum. His albums that followed that stayed consistently platinum. In 07’, he decided to try his talent in acting and found a niche for himself there also. After a short stent out of the limelight due to altercations with ex-girlfriend Rihanna, Brown finds himself at the
top of the music world again.
