Red Hook Summer – The New Spike Lee Joint

Spike Lee takes us back to Brooklyn with his new joint, Red Hook Summer. The film follows a young boy from the ATL by the name of Flik Royale. He moves to Brooklyn to meet his over religious grandfather for the first time. Flik trys to salvage his summer  through the preaching of his grandfather and surviving the projects. His summer’s savior arrives in the shape of a little girl his own age by the name of Chazz Morningstar. With Chazz’s help, Flik realizes that there is more to the world and Brooklyn than he first expected.
