July 14, 1975 – Jaime Luis Gómez, better known as Taboo, was born in Boyle Heights in the City of Angels, California and is an emcee. He is best known as an original member of the Black Eyed Peas (BEP). He started emceeing in the underground hip hop scene, along with b-boying and uprocking. He then evolved as an “alternative hip hop/pop” emcee as The BEP transitioned into more and more mainstream music. Taboo also acts occasionally. #IMissTheOldBlackEyedPeas
