July 11, 1965 – Scott Shriner was born in Toledo, Ohio and is a bass guitarist. He began playing bass in high school and is now famously known as the bass guiarist for the alternative rock band, Weezer.
July 11, 1974 – Kimberly Denise Jones, better known as Lil’ Kim, was born in Bed-Stuy Brooklyn in New York and is a female rap emcee known for her scandalous, yet sexy lyrical content. Her rap influences are fellow female rap emcees, Lady of Rage and MC Lyte. She began making noise when the late, great Notorious B.I.G. put her on with Junior M.A.F.I.A. She then went on to have her first 3 solo albums go platinum, being the only female emcee besides the greatly miss Missy Elliott to ever do it.
Happy Birthday Scott Shriner and Lil’ Kim!
