August 22, 1966 – Gary Grice, better known as GZA aka The Genius, was born in Brooklyn, New York and is an ill hip-hop emcee. Not only is he the oldest member of the legendary Wu-Tang Clan, he is also the founding member. He is regarded by the rest of the Clan as the “spiritual head.” Before forming Wu-Tang, he initially formed a group called All in Together Now with cousins and also fellow Wu-Tang members, RZA and the late-great Ol’ Dirty Bastard. #RealHipHop
