August 15, 1978 – Kerri Walsh Jennings was born in Santa Clara, California and is a 3-time Olympic Gold medalist in beach volleyball with fellow teammate, Misty May-Treanor. Her towering and explosive play has given her the nickname, “Six Feet of Sunshine.” Her and Treanor have been regarded as the greatest beach volleyball team of all-time. This was confirmed with recently taking Gold in this year’s Olympics in London! #USA
