September 22, 1969 – Matt Sharp was born in Bangkok, Thailand and raised in Arlington, Virginia. He is one of the founding members of the eclectic rock band, Weezer. He is the bassist and falsetto vocals, known for being the most active and animated on stage. Sharp also started the band, The Rentals in 94′.
