September 15, 1947 - Charles “Bobo” Shaw was born in Pope, Mississippi and is a free jazz drummer. He is known to experiment and implement funk and new wave styles into his drumming. He was a member of the Human Arts Ensemble and Black Artists Group.
September 15, 1976 – Paul Thomson was born in Glasgow, Scotland and is the drummer of Franz Ferdinand. Drums is his main instrument, but he also plays the guitar, bass guitar and keyboard.
