About a month ago, we previewed some work from mini-installation artist Slinkachu. Here we share one of his newest installations titled “The Balancing Act.” The installation was created in a township in Cape Town called, Khayelitsha. This part of Cape Town has been stricken with poverty, crime and HIV. Images of “The Balancing Act” will be available for purchase at Slinkachu’s shows at the Andipa Gallery in London and New York beginning Sept. 27th to October 7th. Some of the proceeds will go to a community project geared to help local children in Khayelitsha.
