October 16, 1962 – One of the founding members of the legendary band Red Hot Chilli Peppers was born. Michael Peter Balzary better known as Flea attended FairfaxHigh School in Los Angeles where he met fellow RHCP member Anthony Keidis. Flea has been dubbed as one of the best bass players in rock history because of his ability to incorporate several music styles. This allowed RHCP to break down barriers in the music game and win fans over from every genre. During his time off from music, Flea is a die hard supporter of the purple and gold, the Los Angeles Lakers. We’ve all seen him courtside, right?!!!
